It all started with Sage's mother, Sandy, who knew Sun Valley, Idaho was the perfect place to raise her three rascals. Under her wing, Sage developed a deep love for the valley’s beauty and adventure. His ambition eventually lured him out to California, where he met the love of his life, Charlotte. Their inaugural trip to the Valley in February 2021—when they were “just friends”— marked a tradition. Now, as soon-to-be newlyweds, they’ve continued to create lasting memories in Sun Valley every summer and winter since.

    For beginners, the hike to Baker Lake is a great out and back 2.5 trail with 900 ft elevation. Want a little more? The hike to Norton Lakes doubles your distance with 5 miles and 1400 elevation gain.

    For friends looking to enjoy some time on the greens, Sun Valley offers world-class golf courses with stunning mountain views. You can book a tee time at White Clouds, known for its elevated terrain and panoramic vistas, or at Big Wood, a scenic and more relaxed course perfect for all skill levels.

  • Fish

    Ketchum area boasts some of the best trout fishing in the world. Book a fly fishing guide at one of the outfitters in town (i.e., Lost River or Silver Creek) or try your hand at public access.

  • Bike

    Bike on a paved trail along the Big Wood River or take things up a notch and rent a mountain bike (and helmet) for trail rides through the mountains and woods.

  • Ride

    Trail ride a la horseback - immerse yourself in Sun Valley's iconic Western heritage with a trail or wagon ride at the Sun Valley Stables.

  • Hot Springs

    Take a Dip in a Hot Spring - check out Frenchman's Bend Hot Springs​ (aka Warfield Hot Springs) for a free and public dip located along Warm Springs Creek just 11 miles outside of Ketchum, ID.

    For a true Idaho experience, try your hand at shooting. The Sun Valley Gun Club offers clay target shooting and rifle ranges, perfect for both seasoned pros and first-timers. It's the ideal way to tap into your adventurous side and embrace some good ol’ Idaho fun!
